PROCESS

The Humpy Way

The Humpy Way is about blending modern design with traditional values, creating sustainable, comfortable, and timeless spaces for everyday living.

Design

Our in-house Design team will work with you to design your dream Humpy build. We take the time to visit your site and discuss the various options, ensuring to keep your budget at the forefront.

Council Permits & Building Certification

We look after all the hard work for you, so we will liaise with your local council/building certifier to get an approval for your new Humpy build.*

*Council approval process varies for each property. For more information speak to the relevant sales team member.

Onsite Build

Renowned for our exceptional builds, all aspects of the installation process are continuously monitored. Progress site visits are arranged with you. On completion you are handed the keys to your new space allowing you to enjoy your Humpy build.

Complete & Handover

Now it’s time to do a final inspection and handover the keys to the new owner of their new Humpy build.

Flexible Designs

Once you’ve selected the Humpy of your choice, we set about designing the placement of windows and doors specifically for your location.

Off-Site Construction

Within a matter of days your pod's construction is underway. As we’re nearing completion we’ll again be in touch to lock in the installation date.

Fast Installation

Most Humpy’s are erected in a day. The flat pack design means the team arrive in the morning to carry the panels in. By the afternoon, the pod will be in place.

Solid Construction

A Humpy is made of galvanised steel panels lined with ply or plasterboard for interior, Shadowclad on the exterior and all insulated. The roof is Aus’ favourite, Colourbond steel.

Fully Insulated

Nestled within every wall and ceiling is insulation. The ceiling’s insulation is rated at R3.0 and the walls R1.5. Rhinowrap is also added to further protect you from the elements.

Easily Relocated Pod

When it’s time to relocate, the Humpy needn’t be left behind. Just as easily as a Humpy is built, they can be taken down, packed onto a truck and brought along to the new location. (Applicable on Pod Ranges only)

We’ve seen red ones, grey ones, long ones and little ones. A design as contemporary and elegant as this makes for the perfect canvas to create your own masterpiece.

Australian Made

All wall panels are manufactured in our factory in Bangalow NSW and flatpacked to be delivered out to site for the build stage to commence.
